Structural and Non-Structural Plywood
Understanding the distinction between structural and non-structural plywood is crucial in selecting the right material. Structural plywood, designated with an F rating (e.g., F8–F11–F22), adheres to the AS/NZS 2269 standard, ensuring strength and compliance for structural applications. On the other hand, non-structural plywood lacks the necessary strength and stiffness for structural use but provides an economical solution where structural performance is unnecessary. Despite the similar appearance of CD Structural and CD Non-structural, there is little aesthetic difference.
